NASA Sees Debby's Center in the Gulf, Strong T-storms Over Atlantic - The center of Tropical Storm Debby continues to sit in the northeastern Gulf of Mexico on June 25, as evident in this visible image from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) instrument on NASA's Terra satellite. The almost cloud-free center of Debby can be seen in Gulf's open waters, southwest of Tallahassee, Fla. Meanwhile, the bulk of clouds, showers and thunderstorms continue to the north and east of the center of Debby today. In this image, some of the strongest thunderstorms within Debby were over the Florida panhandle and over the Atlantic Ocean. #nasa #Debby #nasagoddard #weather #storm
