Cory Richardsさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Cory RichardsInstagram)「As the new year begins, and I gaze into the rearview mirror, the reflections of 2019 have offered me opportunities for growth and humility. There were many naysayers but there will always be critics. One of the powerful messages of 2019 for me were to embrace those who were my champions. My "life story" has embraced struggle...but I've been shown a new way to write my story...what if I embraced the transformation instead? What if I let the past be the past and no longer let it define me? Many friends have showed me this, of course, but I was truly humbled by the support in my career, as well. The partners that showed up for me in support of my and Topo's climb on Everest helped me recognize a story-line I had yet to except: I'm more than a climber; I'm more than a Nat Geo photographer; I can do more than what I have previously believed I could; I can help myself in ways I was look for in others; I can help others more that I previously believed. As my vacation home nears its end, and I prepare for CES next week followed by several shoots, I'd like to offer the reflections of gratitude and highlight those how have shifted my internal monologue. So, to start it off, thank you @nikonusa for your belief in me.
