I don’t think i’ve ever felt so helpless. It’s not stopping!!!! It feels like an eternity now that the fires have started & as well as my deep train of thoughts on the darkness of this world . I havent shared my words on here because sometimes i truly feel so helpless & i would rather not share if I’m going to react out of anger. In these moments there’s not much I can say without being sour, angry and sad for this world. Thinking about it so much really put’s me in all sorts, thinking about all the people, animals, and earth being burnt to ashes. I understand that it’s natural for ecosystems to have fires, but this is far beyond “natural”. This has gotten to a horribly excessive point, and the driest, hottest part of summer is still to come. These fires are far from ending, and of course the governments aren’t doing anything to help. Even though it will never be enough; my heart truly goes out to the people having this as their reality right now. All i can do is my part, in donating what i can and sharing this on my platform just to stand with the forests on fire. In total, more than 5.9 million hectares (14.6 million acres) have been burned -- an area larger than the countries of Belgium and Haiti combined. To put that into perspective, this year's Amazon rainforest fires burned under a million hectares. That’s almost 6x More than the Amazon , and it’s still going. At least 17 people & HALF A BILLION animals have died in the fires. -- around 1300 houses have been destroyed only in the state of New South Whales.
