Consisting of a threadbare sofa and cushion, Hans Haacke's "Trickle Up" (1992) critiques the 'trickle-down' economic policy advocated by politicians such as President George H.W. Bush, whose quote is embroidered onto the work. This particular work fits within Haacke's larger project of exposing economic forces and their effect on all aspects of contemporary life. On view through January 26 as part of "Hans Haacke: All Connected." #HansHaacke
