Short Text for Kaohsiung Film Festival International Short Film Competition - ⑵

Finally,
to the festival director Hao-Jie HUANG, seeking out the bright future of cinema,
to the director Meng-Ying Yang, who believes in the creativity of film expression,
to Sean Chong who has always been a great defender of Kaohsiung Film Archive 高雄市電影館
and to everyone who came here,
to show a love for film, not just to see personal problems but express the state of society,
I respect you from the bottom of my heart.
By the existence of love from all at the Kaohsiung Film Archive,
I had a beautiful time,
and I will never forget these days there.

From now own, since Drowning Love (#溺水小刀), and 21st Century Girl (#21世紀少女), I will deliver a movie with love to everyone in Taiwan.
In my speech at the awards ceremony, I said that, “the film image is a language that transcends language.” I hope my films in the future can be more like this.
And I would like to thank the audiences in Taiwan for discovering my films.

I have loved Taiwan,
but that love has been deepened even further.
