The present version of Hans Haacke's "Grass Grows" was first executed for the 1969 “Earth Art” exhibition at the Andrew Dickson White Museum of Art in Ithaca, NY. Beginning as seeds planted in a mound of dirt, the work grows and changes according to the gallery's climatic conditions. On view as part of "Hans Haacke: All Connected" through January 26. #HansHaacke
