NASAさんのインスタグラム写真 - (NASAInstagram)「Welcome home, #Starliner! ✨⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ @Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft safely completed the first touchdown on land of a human-rated capsule in U.S. history at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, at 7:58 a.m. EST.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Following a successful pre-dawn launch out of Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Dec. 20 aboard a @ulalaunch Atlas V rocket, Starliner did not reach its planned orbit and could not dock with the @iss. Teams worked to preserve its fuel for a return to Earth. Despite this, the uncrewed capsule successfully met the majority of its test objectives on its first orbital flight test, including checking propulsion systems, verifying space-to-space communications and validating life support systems for future crews.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Boeing is a partner in our Commercial Crew Program that works with American aerospace companies to send astronauts to the space station, allowing NASA to use resources to explore far destinations like the Moon and beyond.
