There’s a misconception around the world that Africa isn’t safe, that it’s not a place you should want to visit. We’ve been around the world a few times now... and it’s hard to find people as welcoming and kind as every single person we talked to in Accra. Playing these African shows, you can’t help but believe in the idea that we are all one, that we can always choose to be kind, that we can celebrate the things that make us different rather than fear connecting with new cultures and ideas.
