This remote and incredible lake in the jungles of Indonesia is comprised of two different layers of water—the top layer is cool, crystal clear fresh water, and the bottom layer is warm, green, and salty.

@brinkleydavies pictured here exploring the depths of both; when she would resurface she’d freak out at the cute monkeys watching us and playing in the trees above. Then, after a few minutes, we’d take deep breath and dive back down into this other world.

I’m super excited for more freediving adventures like this that Brinkley and I are planning for 2020!
