吉田ちかさんのインスタグラム写真 - (吉田ちかInstagram)「Got a photo with President Barack Obama! (Again, not at Madame Tussaud’s!) It’s just unbelievable all of the amazing opportunities being a YouTube creator has given me over the years. We had the privilege of sitting front and center at an event hosted by The Growth Faculty to hear about President Obama’s thoughts and approach on leadership and team building. As you can see in the photo he was so friendly and down to earth. We had a second to shake hands and snap a photo and I told him that this was the first trip I’ve taken without my 18 month old daughter and that her daddy is watching her. His smile got even friendlier and he replied “that must have been hard, but moms need a break too. That’s important.” For a split second I felt like I was talking to an experienced parent, not the former President of the United States. He kept that relatableness (don’t think that’s a word) and human-ness (this one isn’t either) throughout his talk session and so much of what he shared about leadership and team building are things I need to apply to the next stage of my career. So much food for thought! A big thanks President Obama for sharing his stories and to the team at Google for giving me such an amazing opportunity! オバマ元大統領とまさかのツーショット！本物です！マダムタッソーじゃないよ🤣この前言ってたスペシャルなイベントはこちらでした！YouTuberになってこんなにも色んな貴重な体験をできるなんて(いつも言いますがw) 本当に人生って何が起きるかわからない！今回はThe Growth Faculty主催のイベントでオバマ元大統領のリーダーシップやチーム作りに関するお話を最前列で聞かせてもらいました！写真でもわかる通り、実際もとっても優しくて気さくな方。一瞬でしたが撮影会で「今回初めて娘を置いて来たんです。今パパが見てくれています。」と伝えたら表情がよりフレンドリーになり、「それは大変だったね。でも、ママも休まないと。大事だよ。」と温かく言ってくれました。その瞬間はアメリカの元大統領と話しているのではなく、経験のあるパパと話している感じでした。トークセッション自体も(国を動かす想像もできない規模感は置いといてw) 親近感が湧くように色々とお話してくださり、リーダーシップそしてチーム作りに関するお話は自分のキャリアの次のステージに活かさないといけないことばかりで色々と考えさせられました。(英語で書いてる”food for thought”は、考えるための材料という意味です☆) イベントは撮影禁止だったのでシェアできませんが、より詳しい内容と感想は動画でシェアできたらと思います！ #ママに一人旅させてくれたおさるさんとプリンに感謝❤️」12月17日 15時28分
