Whoa - that’s a lot of baggage, but seriously...one of my big priorities with @beis is to bring more good into the world, and this past weekend we got to do exactly that.
In the summer I learned that most kids within the foster care system move their stuff from home to home in garbage bags, and was immediately moved to help that problem, even for just some kids as a way to bring awareness to this issue that really struck me.
We were lucky enough to find and develop a partnership with non-profit organization, @FirstStarAcademies to surprise 75 of their scholars during their annual holiday party. First Star Scholars are teens living in the foster care system who are imminently transitioning into college.
To help with their transition, and to make sure they have something of their own to move with, @beis provided suitcases for all, generously stuffed with product from partner brands @dormify @bioreus @champion @diffeyewear @outofthewoodsbags @yoobi all product to help these hardworking kids as they enter the world of higher education.
Sometimes it’s nice to have a reminder of what this season is truly all about. ✨ ✏️ 🎄
