It became the soundtrack for my whole trip, her lyricism spoke to me with much depth and it left me feeling empowered in my journey and as a Filipino American. It also made me question/answer a lot of things personally, societally and culturally. . Fast forward to this past weekend and out of the all artists I have worked with throughout my professional career this collaboration is absolutely one of the most personal for me to date. . Ruby and I already had met prior to this event but big love @minjeezy and the non profit organization @kollaboration for making this connection official, helping bring Asian representation to the industry and bringing to light, our stories too✨ .
