Sophie, we did it! Here it is, the video about a goal and a route called Golden For A Moment, (located in The Cathedral, Utah). I went there together with Sophie in April 2018. It was my first time ever projecting a route (!) and Sophie came there to film the process. It was a real challenge for both of us and Sophie’s first video project. I know how hard you’ve worked to finish this video, Sophie ❤️ Both excited and nervous to finally show you all the video. - Golden For A Moment is not the hardest route that I've climbed, but it's definitely a monumental moment in my climbing career and a route that I will remember forever. New Years eve 2017 I wrote: “This was a very insightful and developing year for me and I have never before been so certain of which direction I want to go, both in climbing and in life. I feel like I have developed a deeper connection and passion to climbing, and this is what I want to build my life around.” That year I had graduated from Stockholm School of Economics and finished two internships. I was totally chasing someone else's dreams and an idea of a career but I had decided to try to follow my own dream and build my "career" around climbing. Golden For A Moment was the first project that I took on. The process of working towards the goal of climbing this route was one of the most intense and developing experiences I've ever had. Not necessarily because of the climbing itself but because of what it symbolized to me; the process of investing and working really hard towards a goal (through the ups and the downs), regardless if it’s a route, a project at work or something else that your are passionate about.
