Ten years ago I took a chance meeting with a TV icon, Mr Leonard Goldberg. He convinced me that I could play the son of another TV icon, Mr Tom Selleck — in Blue Bloods. 10 years, and over 200 family dinner scenes later (Mr Goldberg’s idea of course), and I’m still working my tail off every single day, hoping to live up to Mr Goldbergs faith in me. I cannot count the profound ways that he has changed my life — beyond giving me the role of a lifetime. He was a mentor, a friend and a father figure. Not just to me, but to so many. His impact on the world of television and movies (and on all of us as a result) can never be measured. He was absolutely one of the All Time Greats! We lost a TV Giant today, and I lost a friend. #RIPLeonardGoldberg 💙
