In the late evening we heard scratching sounds coming from the back door. At first we thought it was just our minds playing tricks on us, but it kept happening. At one point we walked towards the door to take a look through the window, but something made us turn around and go upstairs. We continued to hear scratching noises for an hour or two and that night we barely got any sleep. I never tried to contact my family or the police, I was trying to "be an adult" and perhaps I was afraid of the consequences if I was wrong, just over reacting, or being a "silly girl". The next day as I left the house I saw my moms tool box by the back door, wide open, with tools strewn around. Someone had found it on the porch and sat their trying to pry the door open, scratches were everywhere. The next day my mom got a note from the neighbor telling her how inappropriate it was for her daughter to have two men come to the door late at night. The moral of the story is, dont feel like any scenario is too insignificant to call the police. ALWAYS TRUST YOUR INSTINCT. And if you see something shady happening (like my neighbor did) dont just sit there, do something proactive to help.」12月6日 1時26分
