Growing up, we didn’t have much but I really appreciate being brought up that way because the true meaning of Christmas (and just everyday life) is about loved ones and spending time together, eating, drinking wine and just really feeling grateful for the things we have right now. Growing up I was so thankful for a roof over our head, food on our table and everyone in good health. It is hard at times as many of our family members are not in our lives anymore which I’m sure a lot of people out there also have to deal with. This year for Christmas, I decided to get something for my sister that I love but will always have me attached to it.
