Hyenas are highly intelligent and beautiful animals. I showed a group of people around a few days back. Initially they were somewhat sceptical of the hyenas but having spent some time around them and me explaining how wonderful they are, they were quickly converted. Myths and misconceptions follow hyenas around like a bad smell.
