That’s probably why I’m still competing after all these years.... But going into this comp with @yannick_flohe had a bitter taste to it. At every other comp, me achieving my goal isn‘t as detrimental to someone else’s dream! The last months we’ve been training together, pushing each other in every single session, knowing that one of us is gonna walk away empty handed... We’ve been on a similar level and all comp simulations were a coin flip. Yannick knows he’s as good as the people that qualified but he’s a victim of the country quota. The way he handled this situation makes me respect him even more not just as a climber but as a person!
