GYRE was designed by the MVRDV in 2007. In November 2019, the GYRE’s restaurant floor to reopen as “GYRE FOOD” and Tsuyoshi Tane is responsible for the space design. This place is his first restaurant project in Japan.

表参道GYRE4階レストランフロア「GYRE.FOOD」。
建築家の田根剛さんが手がけたフロア。土、植物、循環。食べ残した食べ物は、テラスのコンポストで土に戻り、ここの緑を育てる。すべてが失われ東京が遺跡になった未来の姿から、田根さんの発想は時を遡って、いまここに至る。全館、土です。
