I’ve always obsessed about @officialcharo’s animated personality, and wild outfits, but it was always her guitar playing that made her a personal hero of mine.
From the outside, Charo and I probably look like we would have little in common, but I’ve always deeply related to women who’ve been misunderstood and type-casted in ways by society, but in reality are multi-faceted and have so much more to offer than the world realizes.
The first time I met Charo, we were talking about this over lunch and she said something along the lines of “My cuchi-cuchi will win their attention, but my guitar will win their hearts!” It was then that I KNEW we had to make music together!
We are now working on a beautiful rendition of one of my favorite Spanish songs - I know some of my hardcore fans will figure out what song this is since I’ve posted about it a few times in the past! But soon, @officialcharo and I will reveal this song when my album comes out in Spring! Can’t. Fucking. Wait! 🖤
