I decided to leave that world behind to become a ceramic artist because I wanted to create and to do something with my hands. Because you have to be happy, you have to feel that you’re doing something that makes you feel well, no matter what age you are. Montreal has so much room for you to express yourself and there’s a kind of freedom to do what you want here. With all of the design, the architecture, the galleries and restaurants, the city itself has helped me to create all that I have and keeps feeding my work.
