(still in shock that this happens to anyone) I was told that I SHOULD NOT be giving out diet / supplement advice because I was too “flabby” to do so myself. Let me first say THIS IS NOT OK. Making others (or even yourself) feel unworthy or flawed is intensely shameful. Hurtful words can stop someone in their tracks and it can cause them to run away and hide which can prevent us from living the truly beautiful life that we ALL deserve.... ALL of this stemming from the fear of being judged. (hurtful words and thoughts about yourself can do the same) I honestly feel this type of negative behavior projected on others is just a direct reflection of how much shame one puts on themselves. THIS IS A HUGE indicator that someone needs a hug and some self love / acceptance. Being open, honest and vulnerable about my postpartum journey is the one thing I promised myself to be after my pregnancy. I wanted to show you my REAL journey back.. flabby tummy, loose skin and all. I wanted to free myself from negative self talk by staying true to what was really happening with my body and sharing it! I’m bigger, softer and squishier then ever before. I’m the furtherest from what I know my body from. I’ve even cried while trying to put on clothes, looking at myself in the mirror or the thought of being naked in front of Jason. BUT THEN I REMEMBERED I’m a miraculous life giving human that deserves ever single ounce of her own love. I choose to not allow society (or people on Instagram) dictate how fast I should bounce back after having a baby. I choose self love, self worth and self acceptance. I choose to tell myself “Paige, you ARE amazing.. no matter what!” 💜」11月21日 3時14分 - paigehathaway
