It’s nice to come and be a “teacher” but it was funny to realize that even though there is probably no more glorious place to study than an Ivy League school, I would never go back to these years. Oh how I hated being a student!!! I couldn’t see it at the time because that was all I knew - and I was terrified I had no life skills. There was probably some good sides to it and a few great teachers. . But - big sense of dread when I reminisce about it. I think the best day of my student life was the one where I decided to stop my studies. And most of what I do today I learned outside of school. . Not telling you to quit school 🤓 just that we all have different learning styles, and that maybe I would have been kinder to myself had I known that before. . Did you love studying?
