you might remember this summer i lost my grandma Junes ring in the ocean. i’d worn it every day since i was 18 years old. if you know me then you know i’ve lost a lot of “things” but that ring was the only “thing” in the world that really meant something to me. yesterday i went to the same beach where i lost it and i walked along the water looking down at the sand for it (pointless i know). then i looked up to this view. i’d rather have this place to come to and think of her than a ring on my finger.. BUT a friend of mine @pauline_phung surprised me and asked @lolitalee_jewelry to make a replica of my grandmas ring. i cried when i opened it. things are nice and I’m so grateful.. but people are amazing and so beautiful. the fact that someone would take the time to do that for me means more than i’ll ever be able to put into words. life is hard and this world can be cruel sometimes, take care of each other. be kind.
