The vast majority of these incarcerated women have children. And many are also victims of sexual or physical assault. Often, when people are released from incarceration, they have no money, no shelter, and have difficulty finding a job because of their records. Thankfully #SusanBurton is an angel among us, committed to changing the way the most vulnerable humans are treated.
