For our Pompeii dress, I was inspired by statues and fountains in Venetian and Parisian cemeteries. The construction was new for me, I wanted the dress to stand alone even if no one was wearing it.
It was first modeled out of clay. Where we could see the shapes be born and then used new resin technology to create the finished “garment”... finally we hand painted it in Paris.
