As I’m fairly quad dominant, this exercise really activates my glutes and hamstrings and isolates my quads. I looove to go heavy on this (but not too heavy, otherwise you’ll start straining your lower back)! A top tip of mine is to also make sure you’re wearing flat shoes (I love to take my shoes off), so that you have a solid base and grip of the ground to execute this right. .
