Pretty active my whole childhood.⁣ ⁣ 2008-2012- Went off to college and did allllllll the cardio.⁣ ⁣ 2013 - Tried P90X for a hot minute and then started “lifting” on my own to prep for NPC bikini competitions. But really had no clue what I was doing lol.⁣ ⁣ 2014- Did well competing but took a break. Then found health problems that have taken me years to sort out. Heavy metal toxicity, 40 food intolerances, hormone imbalances, constant infections, systemic candida, gut problems, methylation issues, cancer scare, etc. Lost all fat and muscle on my body and got down to 110 lbs (im 5’8” and currently 135/140 lbs).⁣ ⁣ 2015- Read, learned, healed. Did my last bikini show. Worked out for fun/ did my own thang.⁣ ⁣ 2016-2017- F45, hot yoga, other random stuff.⁣ ⁣ 2017- Got bored, transitioned into weightlifting, crossfit style workouts, and more functional training. Started noticing more serious gains.⁣ ⁣ 2019- Mostly my own workouts, weightlifting, crossfit, and now a Spartan race!⁣ ⁣ ⬇️ Some key points I’ve learned in the past 10 years‼️⁣ ⁣ ▪️FOOD IS FUEL not an enemy.⁣ ▪️You don’t need to be obsessive about food & fitness to see results. It should be an enjoyable journey.⁣ ▪️Food & fitness should NOT take over your life.⁣ ▪️One or a few “cheat meals” will not ruin your progress... they can actually be beneficial sometimes!⁣ ▪️You should enjoy the way YOU do fitness. What’s right for you may not be what’s right for someone else.⁣ ▪️F&CK THE SCALE.⁣ ▪️Carbs and/or fat are NOT bad.
