@iammarimalek, model activist and founder of @standforeducation, on why climate change is a compounding injustice for girls in South Sudan. // Model Mafia organized @modelactivist in New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, San Francisco, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, Melbourne, Dublin, Athens, and Milan to join 4 million people around the world on #climatestrike, and take part in what we now know was the largest climate action in history. But we didn’t stop there. From coordinating a social media strike in partnership with sustainable consultancy The Slow Factory, to organizing rallies during fashion week, to sign-making, to a teach-in at @arcadiaearth, where members of our community spoke about how climate-change has effected their homelands.
