Sandwiched between two Olympic qualifiers/World Cups, and having just returned from a time zone 9 hours in the future, it was always going to be a quick turnaround to be able to compete. But, with me still not back to 100% after being ill, I have made the decision to give my body and mind as much time as possible to reset ready for the competition next week. I always love competing at British and I do not like making this decision (it’s going to be tough being competition ready but not competing! - a first for me), but I feel it is necessary as I want to put myself in the best position I can to prioritise gaining Olympic Qualification points for GB in Spain next weekend.
