This bamboo villa is not only an architectural wonder but also a work of art. It has been designed by the architect company Ibuku. Sharma Springs is perched on the edge of the Ayung river valley, and comprises 6 floors, with 5 bedrooms, and a separate bamboo guest house all with en-suite bathrooms, kitchen, lounge and dining area with fabulous views, pool, and workspace on the 5th floor, a media room, a kids playroom, and an outside barbecue area. It can host up to 14 people at once, and it comes with a chef, Butler and in-house cleaning staff. .

The main entrance is an out of this world bamboo tunnel which acts as a bridge directly to the oval front door, where the lounge, the two living rooms, and the kitchen are situated. Descending the stairs leads to 4 AC cooled bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. The two upper bedrooms are the Master and Jungle bedrooms The 2 lower bedrooms are called Energy and Lotus bedrooms. From the bottom floor, guests can exit the house to the private garden, pool, and yoga pavilion, perched quite literally on the edge of the river valley. .

All the rooms are furnished with exquisite bamboo furniture which perfectly complements the décor. The scenery and view from the house are breath-taking. On the other side of its pool, Sharma Springs house also has its own bamboo guest house, also with fabulous views across the Ayung River Valley. Most of the house is made out of sustainable materials. It took 1.5 years to build Sharma Springs!
