Alexander Girard dreamed up the Textiles & Objects Shop in 1961. The Manhattan store was created in true immersive Girard fashion: he came up with the concept, outfitted the physical space, and created the marketing materials, including this poster. You name it, Girard had his hand in it. While T&O was short-lived, it paved the way for other ventures, like our Flagship Store at 251 Park Ave in New York. #tbt
