Memorias... other oldies from my mom’s house. So, yes... I was a beauty queen once. I won the Miss Puerto Rico Petite Pageant when I was 20 and then won the big one, Miss American Petite 😂🙌. It was the 50 states and PR was the invited country. Y si, gané!! Speaking not so great English but nevertheless really prepared. Now, this is the crazy part: the venue in Tennessee where the pageant was held had a river next to it. That night it was raining like crazy and the river started overflowing or something and water was getting into the venue. So half way through the pageant we had to evacuate 🤦🏻‍♀️😳. We ended up finishing the competition at a small ballroom in the hotel we were all staying. That explains the random pics with a wall in the back. Oh Lord.... ——————————-
Cuando tenía 20 años gané el certamen Miss American Petite. Competían los 50 estados y PR era el País invitado. Gané la corona hablando poco inglés pero bien preparada. Ese día en el lugar donde se realizó la competencia en Tennessee hubo unas lluvias terribles. Había un río al lado del lugar que comenzó a desbordarse y agua empezó a entrar en el venue del evento. Tuvimos que salir corriendo del lugar y terminar en un salón de actividades pequeño en el hotel donde nos estábamos hospedando. Fue una locura de película 😬🤦🏻‍♀️. Pero al final una noche de mucha felicidad ya que represente a mi Isla y gané 🙏
