マヌー・ベネットさんのインスタグラム写真 - (マヌー・ベネットInstagram)「The other night a painting in the window of a Reykjavik Antique Store caught my eye & I stood in the cold & dark looking at it for a while. The subject is the resurrection of Jesus. Not sure who the man is with the shepherd's crook leading Jesus away? The next day I looked at the painting again but the store was still closed. I literally bid the painting farewell when I left to travel north to Snaefellsnes & Dynjandi. However when I came back I returned to the same hotel & today the store was open! I went in & enquired about the painting & turns out it was painted by the Spanish father of an Icelandic director named Baltasar Kormakur whom I've quietly been wanting to meet since seeing his Icelandic film The Deep.
