In our most recent trip with @rescueorg to Jordan, Kathryn and I visited their women’s center in Ramtha– a safe space for Syrian refugee women and their young children to get counseling, health care, legal services, classes, education for their kids, and so much more. These centers help women and girls feel less isolated. There, survivors of violence can disclose abuse, receive confidential emotional and practical support as well as medical care and counselling. It was incredibly moving and hopeful. The IRC is committed to listening to the voices of women and girls in crisis to ensure their responses meet their real needs, not what we *think* they need. Together, let's raise their voices.
