Prepare to be whirled into Hsiao Chin’s Infinite Universe… 🌌 Founder of the Punto International Art Movement, #HsiaoChin bridged East and West, creating pioneering works of philosophical abstract art. Sotheby’s #HongKong Gallery is honoured to open the artist’s selling exhibition, titled ‘Hsiao Chin – Infinite Universe’. Running from 10 Sep to 9 Oct, it features the artist’s acrylic paintings and complete series of glass mosaics work.

📸 Pictured here is ‘Enormous Cosmic Whirlpool’, Hsiao Chin’s largest single mosaic work (227.5 cm x 238 cm, weighing over 148kg), recreated based on an ink and colour piece from 1983 which was accidentally damaged. A technically challenging work with rich colours and textures, this enormous masterpiece can certainly be considered a notable peak in Hsiao’s courage and creativity.
