I’ve always thought it was weird when I would meet someone who doubted my ability. Whether it was in the classroom, on the field or in life, I wondered why they struggled to see what I saw in myself. It wasn’t always easy, but I never allowed other people’s doubt to change how I felt about myself.
A few weeks ago when I was on a panel, I was asked, “What’s your superpower?” I know without doubt my superpower has always been to BELIEVE— to believe when others don’t, to believe when chasing down the impossible and to believe even when the world is watching.
I’m excited for the release of my new children’s book The Proudest Blue because it shows what it means to be strong and to BELIEVE, always.
