#KaraWalker’s monumental collage “Christ’s Entry Into Journalism” is made up of a series of vignettes that refer to the history of art (its title is a play on the title of a painting by James Ensor), the horrors of the past, and the injustices of the present. Its rich narrative tapestry features figures and incidents from history and from recent news stories that involve racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination and inequality.
