A pair of baby Indochinese silvered langurs cling to one another at @ACCB_cambodia in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Like many primate species, these langurs face a number of threats in the wild, including logging, poaching, and capture for the illegal pet trade. Infants much younger than these two are often captured in the wild and sold as pets, then given away to wildlife rescue centers like the Angkor Centre for Conservation Biodiversity (ACCB) once the monkeys begin to grow and people realize they can't care for them. The ACCB gives animals like these rescued youngsters a second chance at life, helping them to learn and develop the skills they will need to survive in the wild.
