Mt. Arakawadake consists of three peaks—Mt. Warusawadake (aka Mt. Higashi), Mt. Nakadake, and Mt. Maedake. The 6th highest peak in Japan, Mt. Warusawadake viewed from Mt. Nakadake looks truly magnificent. On the ridgeline, you'll see various alpine plants blooming. If you are lucky, you might see a grouse—a Special Natural Treasure of Japan.⠀
