Many times, we, as actors, get imbalanced credit, because we naturally become the recognizable faces of the show. But behind the lens, are a clan of warriors truly dedicated to their craft: camera operators sweating bullets under the sun carrying 30 lbs of metal to get the right angle, the DoP carefully curating the cinematography with the help of the lighting and grip department, ADs diligently relaying the director’s needs, PAs skipping lunches because they’re running around organizing crew - so we can start back on time after lunch, transport traveling everyone to and from set sometimes with only a few hours of sleep, set decorators rushing in after each shot to make sure that couch in the background is back in its correct position, prop dep. providing actors with meaningful objects in record time so we don’t feel spaceless, HMU and costumes allowing actors the easiest route to slip into our characters, special FX blowing shit up...safely, stunt departments making sure every action scene looks nothing short of ASS-KICKING, riggers literally holding onto us so we don’t fall off of a building, the directors, writers, producers, dedicating months to figure out every little detail in order to breathe life into the characters and story, and VFX and editors adding the cherry on top by pulling it all together at the end. Oh! And those awesome Seven merchandise/posters scattered in Season 1? Art Department. These photos I took are just a portion of our all star team. Leslie, in the first photo, painted my feet every day to make The Female “dirty” from all the brutal fighting in Season 1. She did it with a smile every time. The HMU trailer is a sanctuary, full of positivity every time we come in to get ready for the day. It’s not that nobody is tired from the 18 hour day the night before, but everyone just has a damn good attitude!
