昨日は、武蔵美／空デ／片山ゼミ3年4年合同で学外授業。中村圭佑さん率いるDAIKEI MILLS ( ダイケイミルズ ) にお邪魔しました。オフィス見学の後は、中村さんからDAIKEI MILLSデザインフィロソフィーについてのレクチャーと、スタッフである元片山ゼミ3名( 2期生 八木陽介／3期生 熊谷晃希／7期生 長縄開 )の先輩達から、インテリアデザイナーとして働くことついてのレクチャーを頂きました。気がつくとあっという間の4時間！DAIKEI MILLSの独特なアウトプットの背景には、とてもユニークなプロセスやコンセプトワークが潜んでいました。中村さん勉強になりました。そして熊谷君／八木君／長縄君、後輩の為にレクチャーありがとう。お陰で、在校生のみんなにとって、とても実りのある時間になりました。君たちが片山ゼミの卒業生である事をとても誇りに思います。@ DAIKEI MILLS ／南品川
Musabi／Kuude／Katayama Seminar
Junior&Senior joint off-campus class.
We visited DAIKEI MILLS, an interior design firm led by Keisuke Nakamura.
After the office tour, we were lucky to have two lectures. The first one was on design philosophy by Namamura-san. The second one was about working as an interior designer by 3 staff members, who happened to be former Katayama Seminar students( Yosuke Yagi/2nd gen., Koki Kumagai/3rd gen., and Kai Naganawa/7th gen.). We spent fruitful 4 hours there!
After visiting their studio, I was fascinated by their unique process and concept work that makes the output of DAIKEI MILLS even more special.

And to my former students Kumagai-kun, Yagi-kun, and Naganawa-kun thank you for your lecture to your Kouhai. You all did great. I am proud of you all and it was such a great off-campus class.
