It’s hard to believe that today is the final day of Kode With Klossy camps 2019! This summer, Kode With Klossy scholars, young women aged 13-18,  attended free two week coding camps across the country. At the end of two weeks, these incredible young women built apps and websites that help women find safe running routes, connect immigrant families to resources in their new communities, encourage body positivity, promote financial literacy and so much more. More importantly, they built relationships + gained experiences that will unlock countless doors and create limitless possibilities for their future. @teachforamerica supported us in selecting rockstar instructors and @turing_school helped to train them in our two custom curricula including #SwiftPlaygrounds. Brilliant instructor assistants, many of whom are former scholars themselves, helped to bring the magic.  We hosted inspiring women as speakers and integrated mindfulness through a daily meditation and closing gratitude circles.  Our programming would not be possible without the support of our amazing community and partners like @adidas, @キャロライナ・ヘレラ, @エスティローダー, @express, @SAP, @wework and more!  Each summer we are blown away by the intellect, drive, passion, creativity and social-mindedness that radiates from these young women, and this summer certainly did not disappoint.  Couldn’t be more proud of these scholars, our Kode With Klossy community, and the incredible team and supporters that make the magic happen. ✨❤️✨

zilmil3 The description is like a giant advertisement. Reminds me of the free coloring books that showed pictures of a kid depositing money into the B of A account. Brainwashing and virtue signaling; nice. Also, statisticaly, Asian women are the highest income earners in the U.S. above white women. Its awkward to continue this false narrative of ‘the great white hope’ - white people coming to save the poor minorities.

mar.dimech This is a real cool thing you're doing Karlie, coming from a fellow electrical engineer I know how women are not supported in the engineering, software and mathematics world...so you're a role model for the young generation ..wish I had someone like that in my junior days! Keep it up :)
