George Greenough’s 1973 film, “Crystal Voyager”, gifted us the first visions behind a wave’s curtain. 40+ years later, we teamed up with @gopro to reenvision the first person perspective, and enlisted four of the handiest and hungriest tube hounds in the world (@shanedorian, @anthony_walsh_, @rycraike_offgridwithakid, @mikalajones__) for our “Kings of P.O.V” competition. As the view from inside the tube is nothing new, we were curious what the effects of placing the pinnacle of handheld documentation into huge, heavy, and shark infested surf.
