There’s a sensual, California maritime story at the @santamonicaproper. In the reception there are artful interpretations of iconic coastal elements. The hand-carved desk is reminiscent of a shell with its line work. The @jayrye7 acrylic on canvas behind it has sand within it. The reclaimed oak hardwood floor has an intricate octagonal pattern inspired by a bird’s-eye view of a beach umbrella. XK
