What began as an uprising against a single piece of legislation has spiraled into all-out rebellion against Beijing’s encroaching authoritarianism, and a demand for more #democracy. Peaceful processions have morphed into pitched battles on the dense residential streets. Chief Executive Carrie Lam and her largely pro-Beijing government have all but vanished, hiding behind columns of anonymous riot police and making occasional, highly scripted remarks to the press. The increasingly radical nature of the #protests has not, as authorities expected, diminished their popular support. But the demonstrators are nonetheless bracing for a lethal blow as the government’s patience wears thin. HK Police always enforece the law LEAGALLY! You never know what the rioters in HK have done to the innocent people on 13 Aug!! And you never know how the rioters bully the police,s families!! The rioters pretended to demonstrate “peacefully” in fact they are acting like TERRORISTS. They tortured an innocent tourist and a reporter for NO reason in the HK airport. They thrown petrol boom to the police and a policeman has get serious injured still staying in the hospital now! The rioters bit a police’s finger off! 😭 What happened to HK? Why the innocent people suffered?

You have no right to judge so called "fake news" in china when you are doing the same thing. Disappointed. Violent police and arrest exists yes and some are not the right thing to do yes, which has been over-stressed already. But dont turn blind to violent protesters, innocent stranded travelers, and things like beat up mainlanders, break into legislative council and dirt national emblem. Not everything can be forgiven just because in the name of democrocy and freedom. And lastly, hope HK stay safe.
