Huguette is an Ebola survivor. After making a full recovery in January, she’s now using her story of early treatment to help stop Ebola in Butembo, DR Congo. Huguette works for UNICEF to supervise a group of women who meet 15 families a day to raise awareness of Ebola’s symptoms, how it’s spread and how to prevent it. Their work, knocking on doors, is vital for building trust and preventing further outbreaks. © UN/Martine Perret.

Hi, what a beautiful portrait and story, I’m a photographer based in NYC, I live part time in ethiopia. I’m very much interested in working on a project with you guys. Doesn’t necessarily have to be in ethiopia. Please have a look at my page and let me know what you think and who I need to contact for a meeting. Thank you in advance.
