BEAMS PLUS takes inspiration from the 1940-60s American golden age and gives it a modern spin. This season the focus is on the glamorous IVY LOOKS that were instigated by the Hollywood actors and became widely popular all over America after the 1950s. George Peppard’s stylish blazer look, Anthony Perkins’ gracious college style, Paul Newman’s wild ways with his jacket… their styles were a fresh wave in fashion, adapted to fit the scripts, unrestricted by tradition.
