Can we save this beautiful boy? #Repost @unitedhopeforanimals @smilingbrinks ・・・ 🚨EXTREMELY URGENT! 72-HR NOTICE given on 8/7 for BRUNO #A5024922 🚨 RESCUE ONLY!! . Not sure how many times we had posted Bruno before. Bruno has an amazing personality and so sweet with everyone but he fell into the Black Dog Syndrome where people pass black dogs up for lighter color dogs. Now the worse has come for Bruno, just like all the long time residents, eventually made into a RESCUE ONLY and with a 72HR notice clock ticking over him. We know Bruno would make someone so happy with his gentle personality and soulful eyes. He gives kisses and lays his head on people’s laps. Please give Bruno a chance!! . Bruno has a very sweet personality, but he is very quiet, and he would stay at the back of the kennel when strangers approach, and only comes to the front if he felt safe. Bruno is a dapper 3-year-old black-and-white neutered male Pit Bull and Rottweiler mix whose former owner left him at the Baldwin Park Shelter on February 18th for no known reason. Weighing 51 lbs, Bruno is a cooperative and attentive dog who knows how to walk on leash and seems to be housebroken. He is sporty enough to join you on walks, hikes, or runs, but also strikes us as a dog who will appreciate a good nap.  Bruno is eager to be close to and bond with his human. He loves to lay his handsome, blocky head on your lap and be pet. Bruno has done well with confident female dogs in the shelter’s playgroups; he’s only met one male dog and they didn’t hit it off, so for now, we’re recommending he be a solo dog or paired with a female. Bruno is a true head-turner with his stunning black face and white contrast body. He will be an immensely loyal best friend in the lucky forever home that makes him part of the family. . Shelter Assessments: Sociability: Selective, Barrier Reactive, Friendly/Easy to Remove from Kennel, Kids: High School Aged, Large Dogs: Calm Females, Small Dogs: Needs Assessment, Energy Level: Medium, Training: Impulse Control .
