To disinfect surfaces Mr. Bagel frequently wanders, we use Clorox® Regular Bleach, to wipe down and disinfect hard non-porous surfaces. First we sweep the area and wipe with a clean wet cloth. Then, we use a solution of 1/2 cup of bleach, such as Clorox® Regular Bleach, diluted in 3/4 gallon of water. gvsudwnfrg Rinsing with clean water is SO IMPORTANT in this step! So many people just leave the chemical on their floor and surfaces. Honestly, I’m surprised to see this advertisement for Mr. Bagel. My chinchilla, dog and child all live in a home without harsh chemicals. Safe products, like Norwex, doesn’t give way to leaving harsh chemicals for their little feet pads or skin to come in contact with.

chinchillyx I use 50% vinegar mixed with 50% water. If you’re cleaning you’re chins cage this is what you want to use, bleach or Clorox is too toxic for such a fragile animal

padawan_space_pixie Plant based products work best for animals and people. Less harsh than chemicals. There are a lot of wonderful affordable brands out there.
